tee shirts with rolled up sleeves)

Name Tags - Barb Evans Drake and Sharon Crabb Richardson will work together.  No pictures will appear on the nametags.  But just wander over to the large easel by the wall described next to see who that person was that you just met.

Carol Walker has a large easel to use for a memorial for those gone.  Around the memorial will be placed prints of each senior picture from the annual (copies) and names.

Dick Speer and Carol Walker will be organizing a Trivial Pursuit game that we will play in teams at the picnic.  The trivia will be about businesses around the Wheatridge High School, Junior High, Colfax Ave., Federal Blvd., and Wadsworth Ave.  Other categories will be music, movies, sports, entertainment, memories, and many more.  If you have some great trivia for that you would like to share, please e-mail to Dick Speer at dickspeer@netzero.net.

Dick Speer has some extra blank nametags that he will bring to the picnic.  Whoever has markers, please bring.  It will be "Make Your Own Name Tag" at the picnic.

Carol passed around her "all inclusive" list of food for the picnic for others to add salad or dessert each of us on the committee will bring.  In addition, she asked us to add anything if she didn't have it on the list.  About 4-5 other things were added.  Should be complete now.  We just need others from the committees who weren't at the meeting to add what they will bring.

Bob M. is bringing a horse trough for ice, pop, and water.  If there is enough room, the BYOB of beer and wine coolers could squeeze in as well.  Bob also volunteered to bring all pop and water.

Bill Field suggested a golf tournament on Friday.  Bob will e-mail him recommending that Bill organize it as well as give Judy Ream's name and statistics to him as she was interested.  Also a parent was mentioned to refer him to for a deal on a golf course, maybe.  Anyone interested, please e-mail Bill Field.

Lakewood Country Club is decorating each of the round tables that seat 8 with a centerpiece with a blue and gold color scheme.  It was agreed no additional decorations were needed in the main room.

A flower arrangement for the table in the hall will be purchased for decoration with blue and gold in it.  The nametags will be passed out as people arrive from the table and the Memory Books will be passed out as people leave.

We agreed that corsages and boutonnieres will be purchased for the teachers.  Also we will ask all teachers to sit at one or two of the front tables so they may be recognized and honored.

Dick Speer put together another list of lost people.  Each person at the meeting took 3 or 4 pages and will call or locate them anyway they can.  Our goal is to find virtually everyone!

The next meeting will be at Jim and Judy Butler's again at 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 17, 2001.  A great big thank you for your hospitality and the fantastic cake, Judy!!!!!  Carol kindly volunteered to bring snacks for our next meeting to give Judy a rest.  She did more than just bake at this meeting since Jim was out of town. SEE MORE OF YOU THERE!!!

Committees:

Music and Entertainment: Dick Speer, Terry Granger (Charlene Bernstein Wilderman will be one of the MCs)

Treasurer: Karen McManus Brown

Establishing a database with everyone's known location found for this reunion was discussed to help out for the future reunions.  A suggestion to add a contact other than the graduate was made.  This will be looked into and discussed further as we progress.
